ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last Updated: 27 Mar 2024
This accessibility statement applies to the Wave Health platform, including the web-based HCP care portal (Wave Connect) and patient mobile app (Wave Health App).
The Wave Health platform is run by Treatment Technologies & Insights (TTI). We want as many people as possible to be able to use the application. For example, that means you should be able to:
change colors, contrast levels and fonts
zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
navigate most of the application using just a keyboard
navigate most of the application using speech recognition software
listen to most of the application using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the application text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
HOW ACCESSIBLE THIS PLATFORM IS
We know some parts of the application are not fully accessible (i.e do not meet ‘AA’ level WCAG 2.1):
Not all prerecorded video content has captions
Not all text on the mobile app can be resized
Display is optimized for a single orientation - portrait (mobile app) and landscape (web).
FEEDBACK AND CONTACT INFORMATION
If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact support@tti.care and a member of our Patient Engagement team will reach out to you.
If you need information on this website in a different format like accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille, please email support@tti.care or call 800-249-9482 to make this request.
To request alternatives to mobile (Wave Health App) or web portal (Wave Connect) content that is not accessible to you, please email support@tti.care, call 800-249-9482, or contact an otherwise specified support channel (e.g., client-specific support email). Our team will provide requested alternatives to content such as transcripts of prerecorded video content, image alternative text, audio versions of text content, print versions of app materials, etc. For all inquiries, feedback, and alternative content requests, we will get back to you within 2 business days.
COMPLIANCE STATUS
The Wave Health platform is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations:
Some prerecorded audio content does not have provided captions. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.2. We plan to add an alternative for all prerecorded audio media by December 2024 to meet accessibility standards.
Some content is currently restricted to a single display orientation (portrait for mobile and landscape for web), which fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.3.4. We plan to support multiple display orientations by December 2024 to meet accessibility standards.
Some body text currently cannot be resized without assistive technology up to 200 percent. This fails success criterion 1.4.4. We plan to fully support text resizing without the loss of content or functionality by December 2024 to meet accessibility standards.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations:
Images of Text - Where present, images of text are “essential” (e.g., part of validated questionnaires) and therefore comply with WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.5.
WHAT WE’RE DOING TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY
TTI is committed to improving accessibility of the Wave Health platform. Our 2024 accessibility roadmap includes performing both automated and manual accessibility testing, prioritizing and incorporating accessibility remediation into development cycles, adhering to established guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA), and regular conformance monitoring and iterating.
